Farmhouse Style Pantry Makeover

I mentioned in my last post that we’ve been working on finishing some of the smaller projects and details of our kitchen renovation. This week it was PROJECT PANTRY. It’s been functional for a while but there were a few final details to be wrapped up. I still need a few things like labels for the dry goods and some hooks to hang a dust pan on but I just couldn’t wait any longer to share it with you. This[Read more]

Simple Countertop Coffee Station

Welcome back! I know its been a while since I’ve updated y’all on the progress around the house. We spent most of the spring renovating the kitchen and friends let me just tell you that a kitchen renovation is NO JOKE! $60 Farmhouse Inspired King Headboard

I’m back with more progress on our master suite renovation and I’m excited to share with you how we made our king sized headboard for only $60. We started out shopping around some local stores trying to find something that fit our style and budget. I’m not sure why we really ever try because most of the time we end up DIYing it anyways. We’d save a lot of time if we just got smart and skipped that step. This time[Read more]

Porch Progress and Inspiration

If you follow me on Instagram you may remember seeing this photo… One of the first things we did after closing on the house was to start working on the screened  porch. The previous owner had closed in the porch and added a dropped ceiling. We were excited to find out that beneath all that wallpaper was intact framing and we couldn’t wait to get started. So we dove right in… We tore down the walls and ceiling and opened it all up.[Read more]

First Look at our Fixer Upper: Part Two

Welcome Back! Thanks so much for checking back with us! If you missed our tour of the first floor CLICK HERE. We’ve been hard at work these last few weeks mainly on the rooms you’ll see here today. First Look at Our Fixer Upper: Part One

Welcome to The Dutch Farmhouse! I’m so glad you stopped by and am excited to show you around our new home. We purchased our fixer upper recently and have only just started to scratch the surface on the work that needs to be done, but we love it already.
